The procedure for drying flowers is very similar to that of drying leafy herbs.
Flowers should be gathered as soon as flower buds have opened.
Collect on a dry day at least two days after the last rain. Collect in the early morning after the dew has dried.
Dry at low temperatures, 80° - 95°. Dry until brittle. Remove immediately.
Do not use flowers that have been sprayed with pesticides or herbicides.
